Cochylichroa hoffmanana (Kearfott, 1907) was formerly in the genus Cochylis, Zootaxa, 4671(2):195-222 and includes as a synonym Cochylis zoxcana (Kearfott, 1907) [3863]. This species was number 3828 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
