Type locality: Colorado.
Description/
Field Marks:
Forewings typically with both am. and pm. lines reaching the inner margin.
Similar Species:
  • Oxycnemis orbicularis typically has forewings with both am. and pm. lines incomplete.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy: Oncocnemis meadiana Morrison, 1875
Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis meadiana: Formerly placed in the genus Oncocnemis.
