Synonymy: Gnorimoschema petrella Busck, 1915
Taxonomic Notes: Scrobipalpopsis petrella (Busck, 1915) was transferred from the genus Scrobipalpopsis to Ptycerata, n. syn., in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). Scrobipalpopsis was elevated back to full generic status in Powell & Povolný, 2001, Holarctic Lepidoptera, 8 (Suppl. 1): 22.
