Description/
Field Marks:
Mean FWL - 6.4 mm (Gilligan & Wright, 2013). Forewing median fascia reduced to a rectangular patch on the costa, sometimes faint.
Similar Species:
  • Pelochrista costastriata (Wright, 2011)
  • Pelochrista pulveratana (Walsingham, 1879)
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy: Eucosma consobrinana Heinrich, 1923
Taxonomic Notes: Pelochrista consobrinana: Formerly placed in the genus Eucosma, Gilligan et al. (2013), Zootaxa, 3746(2): 301-337.
