Synonymy: onagella Dietz, 1905 (Amydria) - MONA 1983: 337; Lectotype: Onaga. KS. Note: Lectotype in MCZ designated by D.R. Davis (unpublished). occidentella Dietz, 1905 (Amydria); Syntypes: Pasadena and Mountain View, CA. Note: originally described as a variety of onagella. Syntypesa are presumed lost (Miller & Hodges 1990). Similar  : Species Caution: the genus Amydria contains many undescribed species and dissection is required for identification. Mapping and placement of all images in this genus should be considered tentative. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
