Taxonomic Notes: Anania plectilis (Grote & Robinson, 1867), formerly treated as a synonym of Anania coronata (Hufnagel, 1767), a species extralimital to North America, is raised to full species status in Leraut (2005), Nouv. Rev. Entomol., 22(2): 128.
