Taxonomic Notes: Xubida panalope (Dyar, 1917) includes as a synonym Platytes acerata Dyar, 1917; "...The present writer places acerata as the junior synonym, even though it has page priority, acting as first reviser under Article 24(a) of the Zoological Code." - Klots (1970)
