Distribution: Possible restricted to the southern Rockies with outliers representing misidentified decoloraria.
Type locality: Silverton, CO.
Similar Species:
  • 7384 Xanthorhoe decoloraria, aside from possibly range, cannot at present be distinguished from alticolata except by the long pectinations of the male antennae which are very short in for the latter.
