Type locality: Nassau, Bahamas.
Similar Species:

Synonymy: Heterocampa bichorda Hampson, 1901
Taxonomic Notes: Caribbeana bichorda (Hampson, 1901), n. comb. and n. gen. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly placed in the genus Rifargia.
