Distribution: Southern NM and western TX - Miller et al. (2021) Type locality: Alpine, TX. Similar Species: Macrurocampa gigantea (Barnes & Benjamin, 1924) is larger and unknown east of western New Mexico. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Litodonta alpina Benjamin, 1932 Taxonomic Notes: Macrurocampa alpina (Benjamin, 1932), n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly in the genus Litodonta.
