Taxonomic Notes: Mimophisma forbesi Schaus, 1940 is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. This species was previously known only from Puerto Rico, but found in the Florida Keys by Jim Troubridge in 2013, ZooKeys, 788: 246.
