Taxonomic: Notes Eucosma argutipunctana (Blanchard & Knudson, 1983) n. sp., J. Lepid. Soc. 37: 143, was formerly placed in the genus Phaneta, Gilligan et al. (2013), Zootaxa, 3746(2): 301-337. Synonymy: argutipunctana (Blanchard & Knudson, 1983) (Phaneta) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; Holotype: Texas, Hemphill County Similar  : Species Pinned specimens of related species.
