Distribution: "Missouri east to Kentucky and North Carolina, and south to Florida and eastern Texas" (Quinter & Mcbride 2025). Host Plants: Switch Cane (Arundinaria tecta) and Giant Cane (A. gigantea) (Quinter & Mcbride 2025). Similar  : Species 932361.7n Cherokeea gabrielleae Pinned specimens of related species.
