Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fabaceae.  Host genera: Trifolium.  Host extended: miner (Eiseman et al 2017b).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: minuta Clarke, 1953 (Porphyrosela) - MONA 1983: [NEW] Taxonomic Notes: Porphyrosela minuta Clarke, 1953 is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, Proc. Entom. Soc. Wash., 119(1): 18-23.
