Distribution: Canada: BC; USA: WA, OR, CA.Type locality (rosaciliella): Camp Watsia, OR. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Araliaceae Apiaceae.  Host genera: Angelica Conioselinum Ligusticum Oplopanax Ligusticum Oenanthe Oplopanax Osmorhiza.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: rosaciliella (Busck, 1904) (Depressaria) - MONA 1983: 876; TL: Camp Watsia, OR. echinopanicis Clarke, 1941 (Agonopterix); TL: Skyline Ridge, Mount Baker district, Whatcom County, WA. rosiciliella; (Meyrick, 1922) (Depressaria) missp.; TL: (no type).
