Similar Species: 932959 Leucania dorsalis: has HW fuscous - Adams (2001). 932961.2 Leucania elephas: has FW with "darker, more contrasting white and brown scales on the cubital vein" than in dorsalis - Troubridge (2020). 932942 Leucania februalis: is found in CA. 932961 Leucania infatuans: has FW with yellow tint and HW with white ground color - Adams (2001).
