Host familiy: Betulaceae Fagaceae Oleaceae Pinaceae Rosaceae Sapindaceae.  Host genera: Acer Alnus Betula Corylus Fraxinus Larix Prunus Pinus Picea Quercus Tsuga.  Host extended: bark of decaying wood in association with fungi, Armillaria mellea & others (Peterson et al 2007).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025)
