Synonymy:
  • idaeella Hofmann, 1869; TL: Germany, Bodenvöhr, Upper Palatinate.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Coleophora idaeella Hofmann, 1869 is now recognized within the North American fauna; DNA barcoded specimens from British Columbia (Klaassen, et al. 2025) and the Yukon (BOLD). Originally described as a variety of C. viminetella Zeller, 1949.
