Synonymy: erubescens (Walsingham, 1904) (Gelechia) - MONA 1983: [NEW in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023)] Taxonomic Notes: Ornativalva erubescens (Walsingham,1904) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, now widely distributed in Southwestern United States, Jour. Lepid. Soc., 71(3): 141- 145.
