Synonymy:

trifasciae Braun, 1910 (Argyresthia) - MONA 1983: 2482; TL: Ocean Beach, San Francisco Co., CA.

triplicata Meyrick, 1914 (Argyresthia); TL: (no type).

Note: Proposed by Meyrick (1914) as a replacement name for trifasciae Braun with the note "(praeoccc.)" but without further explanation. It may be that Meyrick was treating trifasciae as preoccupied by "trifasciata Staud." which he listed in the same work.
