Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Malpighiaceae.  Host genera: Banisteriopsis Byrsonima Bunchosia Callaeum[=Mascagnia] Carolus Gaudichaudia Heteropterys Hiraea Malpighia Stigmaphyllon Tetrapterys.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: begga (Prittwitz, 1868) (Goniloba) extralim.; STRAY - MONA 1983: 3933 ssp. a. pyralina (Möschler, 1877) (Helias) (stray)  marginata Schaus, 1902 (Gorgythion)  vox of authors; not Evans, 1953 (Gorgythion) misid.
