Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Polygonaceae.  Host genera: Eriogonum.  Notes: on flowers, buds & seeds (Allen et al 2005).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: allyni (Shields, 1975) (Shijimiaeoides) - MONA 1983: [NEW] Taxonomic Notes: Euphilotes allyni (Shields, 1975) is elevated from synonymy of 4366 Euphilotes battoides (Behr, 1867) to full species status in Rubinoff et al. (2021) following Davenport (2018).
