Junonia nigrosuffusa Barnes & McDunnough, 1916, originally described as a subspecies of coenia and later treated as a full species in Hafernik (1982) and in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and later synonymized with 4442 J. evarete (Cramer, 1779), is returned to full species status in Hafernik (1982) with further confirmation in Cong et al. (2020). |
