Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Araceae Nymphaeaceae.  Host genera: Pistia Nymphaea.  Host extended: Aquatic larvae on Algae-covered rocks (Munroe 1972).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: drumalis (Dyar, 1906) (Elophila) - MONA 1983: 4770 Taxonomic Notes: Argyractis drumalis (Dyar, 1906) was formerly in the genus Petrophila, Proc. Entomol. Soc. Wash. 96(4) 726-734.
