Description/ Field Marks: Caution: Specimens identified here as hilumaria may represent a species in the genus Hygrochroma, possibly the "extralimital" H. blaziaria or close to it. Further study it needed. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: hilumaria (Hulst, 1886) (Endropia) - MONA 1983: 6871; TL: Colorado. Taxonomic Notes: Hygrochroma hilumaria (Hulst, 1886), n. comb. (Matson & Wagner 2025), was formerly placed in the genus Neoselenia by Pitkin (2002).
