Distribution: Canada: BC, ON; USA: MI - BOLD. Rocky Mountain region of AB & BC - McDunnough (1949).
Holotype: Nordegg, AB.
Description/
Field Marks:
Wingspan: ~10-16 mm.
Genitalia: See Plate 107 for images of both spread adult and genitalia in Ferris (2018).
Similar Species:
  • 7564 Eupithecia stellata is larger. The hindwing tends to be darker and more smoky colored with st. line more obviously scalloped.
