Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Helianthus.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: intermixta Dyar, 1918 (Stiria) - MONA 1983: [NEW] Taxonomic Notes: Stiria intermixta is known from UT to AZ, TX and Mexico.
