| Taxonomic Notes: |
Stigmella centifoliella (Zeller, 1848), a Eurasian species, includes as a synonym Stigmella rosaefoliella pectocatena Wilkinson & Scoble, 1979, a subspecies described from Canada, in Nieukerken et al. (2016). In describing pectocatena, Wilkinson & Scoble didn't realize that it was an introduced species which had already been described. |
