Description/
Field Marks:
It may be that case that piniariella is restricted to the Palearctic, with NA specimens identified as this species referring to strobivorum Freeman.
Similar Species:
  • 36a0114 Ocnerostoma strobivorum: may not be seperable by genitalia but is separated by DNA barcode.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
