Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Empetraceae.  Host genera: Empetrum.  Notes: leaf miner (Eiseman 2020).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: conspersella (Tengström, 1848) (Tinea) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; TL: Northern Europe. moensis (Strand, 1920) (Swammerdamia) Taxonomic Notes: Paraswammerdamia conspersella (Tengström, 1848) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, Handfield (2002).
