Distribution: ON and WI west to MT and OR, the Rockies south into NM and east to NE - Rubinoff & Powell (1999). Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Cupressaceae.  Host genera: Juniperus.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: See Rubinoff & Powell (1999). Genitalia: See Rubinoff & Powell (1999). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: cockerellana (Kearfott, 1907) (Tortrix) - MONA 1983: 3630; Lectotype: Glenwood Springs, Garfield Co. CO.
