Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Pinaceae.  Host genera: Picea Pinus.  Host extended: larvae boring in the pith of terminal branches (Heinrich 1923a); stem bases (Robinson et al 2002).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: sonomana (Kearfott, 1907) (Eucosma) - MONA 1983: 3065 Taxonomic Notes: Eucopina sonomana: Formerly placed in the genus Eucosma, Gilligan et al. (2013), Zootaxa, 3746(2): 301-337.
