Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Ambrosia.  Host extended: Powell & Opler 2009 [for "probably Epiblema sosana"] (Ambrosia chamissonis, Ambrosia confertiflora)....  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: sosana (Kearfott, 1907) (Eucosma) - MONA 1983: 3180; Lectotype: Stockton, UT. pelina (Meyrick, 1912) (Eucosma); TL: (no type). Note: Unjustified replacement name.
