Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fagaceae Rosaceae.  Host genera: Amelanchier Castanea Crataegus Malus Prunus Pyrus Quercus Sorbus.  Host extended: on trunk & stems (Robinson et al 2002); wood-borer (Klem & Zaspel 2019).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
