Host familiy: Betulaceae Cornaceae Ericaceae Fagaceae Malvaceae[Tiliaceae] Oleaceae Rosaceae Salicaceae Sapindaceae[Aceraceae] Ulmaceae. Host genera: Acer Betula Cornus Fagus Fraxinus Gaylussacia Malus Ostrya Populus Prunus Pyracantha Quercus Salix Tilia Ulmus Vaccinium. Notes: polyphagous on trees & shrubs (Forbes 1923); leaftier, also bores in apple fruits (Eiseman 2020). (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
