Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Lamiaceae.  Host genera: Trichostema.  Notes: stem gall former (Hodges 1962b).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: sexnotella (Chambers, 1878) (Gelechia) - MONA 1983: 1508 Taxonomic Notes: Eteobalea sexnotella (Chambers, 1878), n. comb. in Sinev (2002), was formerly placed in the genus Stagmatophora.
