Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Araliaceae Asteraceae Rosaceae.  Host genera: Ambrosia Aralia Artemisia Aster[unresolved] Bidens Fragaria Helianthus Solidago.  Host extended: makes shelter in leaves (Eiseman 2024a).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 59a0579 Dichomeris agonia: has a straight, somewhat jagged pm. line, not outwardly curved as in juncidella, and head with orange scales. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: juncidella (Clemens, 1860) (Trichotaphe) - MONA 1983: 2298; TL: "not given [Easton, Pennsylvania]" (Hodges 1986). dubitella (Chambers, 1872) (Depressaria); TL: Kentucky. pallipalpis (Walker, 1864) (Gelechia); TL: "North America (from Carter)" (Hodges 1986).
