Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Hazardia.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: See holotype at USNM and original description in Busck (1903). Genitalia: See holotype at USNM. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: magnella (Busck, 1903) (Paltodora) - MONA 1983: 1694; TL: Colorado.
