Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Polygonaceae Rosaceae Vitaceae.  Host genera: Ampelopsis Fragaria Parthenocissus Persicaria[=Polygonum].  Notes: causes slight gall on stem (Forbes 1923); in stems of Polygonaceae (Eiseman 2020); .  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: absconditella (Walker, 1864) (Gelechia) - MONA 1983: 1706 palpiannulella (Chambers, 1872) (Gelechia) palpianulella; (Chambers, 1878) (Gelechia) missp.; TL: (no type).
