Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae.  Host genera: Alnus Corylus.  Notes: on catkins (Forbes 1923); catkins (Eiseman 2020).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
