Distribution: MA along east coast to FL and then west to eastern TX with records from AR, TN and MO - Neunzig (1986). Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fagaceae.  Host genera: Quercus.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: minimella Ragonot, 1889 (Acrobasis) - MONA 1983: 5657; TL: Texas. nigrosignella Hulst, 1890 (Acrobasis)
