Taxonomic Notes: Hypsopygia intermedialis (Walker, 1862) was formerly in the genus Pseudasopia and assigned to the genus Herculia in the 1983 Hodges Checklist. Pseudasopia and Herculia were synonymized with Hypsopygia in Leraut (2006).
