Distribution: European species apparently introduced by accident in Vancouver. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Rosaceae.  Host genera: Cotoneaster Prunus Crataegus.  Host extended: [for Trachycera suavella Zincken] .  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 80a0076 Acrobasis tricolorella: has a more jagged pm. line. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: suavella (Zincken, 1818) (Phycis) - MONA 1983: 5702 porphyrea (Stephens, 1834) (Phycita) supposita (Heinrich, 1940) (Mineola) Taxonomic Notes: Acrobasis suavella: Formerly placed in the genus Trachycera.
