Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Cannabaceae[Ulmaceae].  Host genera: Celtis.  Notes: leaftier (Kimball 1965).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: celtidella (Hulst, 1890) (Salebria) - MONA 1983: 5803 Taxonomic Notes: Sciota celtidella (Hulst, 1890) was formerly in the genus Nephopterix, Fascicle 15.5: 120.
