Host familiy: Pinaceae.  Host genera: Pinus.  Notes: Cambium, shoots (Roe et al 2011); bark of shoots (FG Browne 1968); under bark (Robinson et al 2002); mainly bark borers (Mutuura 1982a); attacking trunks, branches & roots(Raizenne 1952).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
