Note: Originally described as a “hemispecies” of menyanthevora Pavulaan, 2020. Taxonomic Notes: Hemileuca menyanthevora Pavulaan, 2020, rev. stat. (St Laurent in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was originally described as a subspecies of maia Drury. This species includes as a new synonym Hemileuca iroquois Cryan & Dirig, 2020 (St Laurent in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).
