Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Onagraceae.  Host genera: Camissonia Clarkia Oenothera.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: lucidus (Boisduval, 1852) (Arctonotus) - MONA 1983: 7872 clarki (Barnes & Benjamin, 1923) (Arctonotus) Taxonomic Notes: Proserpinus lucidus (Boisduval, 1852) was formerly in the genus Arctonotus, Jour. Lepid. Soc., 63(4): 233-235.
