Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Onagraceae Portulacaceae Rosaceae Rubiaceae Vitaceae.  Host genera: Chamaenerion[=Chamerion] Clarkia[=Godetia] Epilobium Fuchsia Galium[=Asperula] Malus Oenothera Portulaca Rosa Vitis.  Notes: others in Onagraceae, will eat other families in late instars (Wagner 2005); specialist feeding on Epilobium (Crabo et al 2014); leaves (Wagner 2005).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
