Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae Ericaceae Fabaceae Fagaceae Myricaceae Pinaceae Salicaceae.  Host genera: Alnus Betula Comptonia Gaylussacia Larix Morella Myrica[unresolved] Orbexilum Quercus Salix Vacciniu...  Host extended: polyphagous on herbs (Forbes 1948); presumably other woody species (Wagner 2005).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: pendulinaria (Guenée, [1858]) (Ephyra) - MONA 1983: 7139 dilucidaria Rothke, 1920 (Cyclophora) griseor (McDunnough, 1927) (Cosymbia) lumenaria of authors; (not Geyer, 1832) (Cosymbia) misappl. nigricaria Rothke, 1920 (Cyclophora) quadrannulata (Walker, 1863) (Acidalia) quadriannulata Covell, 1983 (Cyclophora) missp.
