Host familiy: Aquifoliaceae Caryophyllaceae Fabaceae Polygonaceae.  Host genera: Cerastium Ilex Persicaria[=Polygonum] Polygonum Stellaria Trifolium.  Host extended: polyphagous on herbs (Forbes 1948).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025)

    Note: Provisional author and year. This name was originally published by D’Urban (1860) as "P. successaria, Walker, M.S.S.N. N. sp.” and includes Walker’s description in quotes. Walker (1862 [1863]) published the same description noting, “Canada. In Mr. D’Urban’s collection”.
